Create a schedule: playlist + time + weekdays
Create slots with content, a weekday and a time, optionally tie them to the weather, and assign the schedule to a display.
A schedule is a weekly grid of slots. Each slot links content to a weekday and a time window and repeats every week until you change it. For a schedule to take effect, it has to be assigned to a display.
Create a schedule and a slot
- 1Open “Schedules”, choose “Add schedule”, enter a name and click “Create”. Then open the new schedule.
- 2Click “Add slot”, or click the hour you want directly in the “Calendar”.
- 3Under “Content type”, choose what should play, for example “Playlist”, and select the playlist.
- 4Choose the “Day of the week”. “Whole week” creates a separate slot for each weekday, which you can edit individually later.
- 5Enter the “Start time” and “End time”. German time applies.
- 6Click “Add”. Check the result in “Calendar” and “List”; clicking a slot opens it for editing.
- 7Under “Displays”, open the display, select the new schedule on the “Schedule” card and confirm with “OK”.
The content types
- Playlist: plays the selected playlist.
- External ads: mixes external campaigns into your content during this time window; you do not assign a playlist.
- Widget (Pro): shows all widgets you have enabled in the Content Hub.
- Social (Pro): shows the posts you have selected in the Content Hub.
- Website: shows the websites from the Content Hub.
- L-Banner: on displays with the L-Banner layout, fills the right-hand zone with its own playlist.
Tie content to the weather
With “Weather condition”, a slot only plays in matching weather at the display’s location: under “Only if”, choose Sunny, Cloudy, Rain or Snow and optionally a temperature range. If weather data is missing, the slot always plays to be on the safe side.
Avoid overlapping slots: if several slots are active at once, their content plays together, so one slot does not replace another. Do not rely on the “Priority” field for this either. For times without a slot, assign a fallback playlist to the display under “Setup”.
