Manage multiple displays and locations

Maintain content once, play it on several displays through a shared schedule and keep track of locations on the map.

OOHLEMON bundles displays through schedules: you can assign one schedule to as many displays as you like, and all of them show the same programme. That way you maintain content in one place, even if the screens are in different locations.

One programme for several displays

  1. 1Under “Schedules”, create a schedule with the slots you need.
  2. 2Under “Displays”, open each display in turn, select the same schedule on the “Schedule” card and confirm with “OK”.
  3. 3From now on, change only the playlist or the schedule. All assigned displays pick up the change.
  4. 4If a location should differ, create a separate schedule for it. You can use the same playlist in several schedules.

Keep track of locations

  • The “Displays” overview shows the status, format, location, playlist and schedule of each display.
  • On the map (menu item “Karte”), the “Mine” view shows your displays with location data and how many of them are online or offline.
  • The “Visible on map” switch on the detail page under “Setup” controls whether a display appears on the map.
  • Give displays descriptive names when pairing, such as “City centre store, till”, so you can find them quickly in the overview.

Several people or companies

With Pro, you can invite members under “Team” and assign them roles. If you belong to several organisations, switch between them with the “Organisation” selector in the menu; each organisation only sees its own displays and content. Custom widgets such as Google reviews can be enabled specifically for “All displays” or “Selected displays”.

For many displays you can also automate the assignment: the API assigns a schedule via PATCH on /devices/{id}. The details are in the API reference.

There is currently no dedicated group feature and there are no bulk actions: schedule, rotation, layout and commands such as “Restart app” are set per display. A schedule that is still assigned to displays can only be deleted once those displays have a different schedule.
